Can We Help You?

It would be our pleasure to answer your questions about attending THE BAND'S VISIT. Read our FAQs

“It transports you to a place both exotic
and touchingly familiar.”

–Ben Brantley,

Welcome to Nowhere...

After a mix-up at the border, an Egyptian Police Band is sent to a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert. With no bus until morning and no hotel in sight, these unlikely travelers are taken in by the locals. Under the spell of the desert sky, their lives become intertwined in the most unexpected ways. THE BAND’S VISIT celebrates the deeply human ways music, longing and laughter can connect us all.

“IT DOESN’T FEEL LIKE ANY MUSICAL EVER.
It doesn’t sound like anything else you’ve heard.
PERFECT is the wrong word for such an unusual musical,
but it will just have to do.”

–Jesse Green,

Music

“The music takes on a transcendent harmonic shimmer
that stops the heart.”

“AN EXQUISITE MUSICAL.
Could not be a better agent
